How Much Heat do You Need?
To calculate the capacity of your new heating and cooling system, you need to consider the following factors:
- The size of the rooms you wish to heat
- Whether or not these rooms are insulated
- How much space your windows take up – particularly important for cooling if you have a lot of north-facing windows in a room
Once you have a rough idea of the area involved, this table will help you decide on the size unit you require:
